DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 4, 2026) –
On Saturday, May 23, the Daytona Beach Bandshell’s 2026 FREE Star Spangled Summer Concert Series, presented by Boardwalk Merchants and Friends of the Bandshell, will officially kick off the popular summer concert series with its first Saturday night concert. Back by popular demand, the night sky will come alive with the “Kona Big Wave Lights Up Daytona Fireworks Display” over the ocean after the shows. Concerts start at 7:15 PM, and fireworks over the ocean will follow at 9:45 PM.
The Star Spangled Summer Concert Series is an annual free summer concert series that takes place on Saturday nights at the historic Bandshell on the world’s most famous beach, located at the north end of the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. It is an experience that both locals and visitors look forward to every summer. The Star Spangled Summer Concert Series is known for featuring the best tribute bands to the beach. The 2026 concert season kicks off on May 23 and runs every Saturday night through September 26. These family-friendly concerts offer a star-spangled summer of fun for all.
On Saturday, May 23, the concert series will officially kick off with ZENDATTA AND TOUCH AND GO, tributes to POLICE and CARS. ZENDATTA delivers a fantastic tribute to the POLICE, one of the most iconic bands of the '80s, with vocals that sound just like Sting! TOUCH AND GO’s tribute to the CARS captures the perfect blend of rock and new wave that made the CARS an unforgettable band. Get ready to rev your engines as TOUCH AND GO performs fan favorites like Drive, Just What I Needed, Magic, My Best Friend’s Girl, Shake It Up, and more!
Special concerts are set for Saturday, June 6, Saturday, July 4, and Saturday, July 25. On Saturday, June 6, Friends of the Bandshell will honor our veterans' service and observe the Bud Asher Memorial Celebration with a patriotic flyover and the singing of the National Anthem at the Bandshell. SOUTHERN CROSS and BAD MOON RISING will perform tributes to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
On Saturday, July 4, Friends of the Bandshell will celebrate Independence Day and the 250th birthday of our nation with a concert featuring ALTER EAGLES, a tribute band to the Eagles. The event will also feature a special extended “Kona Big Wave Lights Up Daytona Fireworks Display,” set to patriotic music provided by the 95.7 The Hog radio show. Happy Birthday, America!
Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the official incorporation of the City of Daytona Beach, the Saturday, July 25 concert will feature THE ALLMAN REVIVAL, a tribute to Daytona’s own Allman Brothers! The Allman Brothers grew up in Daytona Beach and launched their renowned Southern Rock style right here at the world’s most famous beach.
The public is encouraged to bring entire families. Attendees may bring their own chairs or rent them at the Bandshell. VIP seat tickets will be available on AXS.com (https://www.axs.com/artists/1120222/star-spangled-summer-tickets) starting March 13. AXS will keep selling VIP tickets for each show until 2 PM the day before the performance. The Bandshell Box Office will also sell VIP tickets at the venue on the day of the show, beginning at 5 PM. VIP tickets cost $15 each. Additionally, individual chairs can be rented at the Bandshell for $5 each, cash only. Please note that coolers, ice chests, and backpacks are not allowed.
Parking for the Bandshell is available at the nearby Ocean Center garage and surface lots. Attendees parking in the Ocean Center garage can use the pedestrian overpass to reach the Bandshell, purchase concessions and drinks, and enjoy the live show!
Additionally, while enjoying cool evenings with live music under the stars, concert attendees can stroll the boardwalk, play skeeball or video games, enjoy food and drinks, and watch street performers on the world's most famous boardwalk.

In 1996, Friends of the Bandshell, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, was formed to restore this jewel of Daytona Beach and bring back a repertoire of outstanding artists with concerts for area residents and visiting tourists. Their goal is to make this a cultural force in the community through live entertainment and as an arts-educational beacon shining on the Northeast Florida student population.
